I am thinking of getting a H&k USC (.45 carbine) has anyone out there used one or heard anything about them are they accurate?\
reliable??

THanks

I own and one and must say that I love it! It is scary accurate at 25 yards and very accurate at 50 yards. I can't say how it performs at 100 yards because I have never fired it that far. Recoil is very mild. It is very, very lightweight. With the addition of weaver rails, there are lots of accessories are avialable for it -- tac lights, lasers, optics, vertical grips. Reliability is typical HK, meaning 100% reliable. There are two downsides. First is the 10 round mags, but you can buddy clip two together. Secondly is takedown. It's not the push pin typical of HK weapons. There are two allen head screws which need to be removed. It's a great and banned in Kali. Get it before it's banned anywhere else.

I am thinking of getting one but do not know
if it is legal in the state of California?
Please let me know. There is a good review about the HK .45 USC a while ago in the American rifle man. I hope it is legal in CA.

Moved to "The Art of the Carbine" er, "Rifle"... :)
