Awesome rifle. My ex-wife (girlfriend at the time) bought me one when I turned 21. It could way outshoot my capabilities. It is kind of an HK mini-14. The SL-6 is basically the same as the model 630 with the exeption of stock configuration (630 has no handguard over the barrel).
Be warned that accesories are incredibly expensive. The scope mounts made specifically for the SL-6/630 are around $300 and magazines, either 4 or 10 round capacities, are around $80 each.
When I was trying to sell it, I had people telling me, "That thing is worth about 900 bucks..." but no one would touch it for the asking price of $650.
You might also consider the HK SL-7 wich is in .308. That would make a great general purpose piece.
