Does anyone know if onyone makes a factory stock with aftermarket wood. Looking for remington 870 stockand forearm. Thanks

jna142,
Don't know exactly what you're after, a factory stock with aftermarket wood is paradoxical.
Do you want a finished wood drop-in stock that matches the factory contours, or semi-finished custom wood stock? Are you looking for a 870 Wingmaster stock in glossy walnut or for a 870 Express in laminated wood? If it's a finished stock you're after, then you might want to check out the RemingtonCountryStore.com, they have some close-out bargains from time to time.

870

Yes ive talked to Kelly, but they want way to much money. they said it would be around 600 to 1200 dollars and im not looking to spend more than i spent on my shotgun. Ill probly end up doing it myself.

Most pump guns ...aren't really worth having custom stock work done on them .../ or at least you won't ever get a return on your investment ....

It would be something you'd have to love ...and keep forever...

But even plain old replacement stocks / OEM type wood ...are expensive. I 2nd the idea of doing something yourself ...( just get a good blank / make sure you treat and dry it properly - and it might be fun to make a stock ).
