Gunsmith

Looking for a reputable gunsmith to do barrel work. Open the bore and lengthen the forcing cones. Preferably in the Phoenix area.

Ask at Ben Avery; otherwise, contact Mike Orlen in MA - the most you'll have to send is your barrel - he's good, not expensive and fast with the turnaround.

I think you'd be better calling him; he's also a Mod on another shotgun forum in the gunsmithing section

I agree with the above, CALL HIM. He is a great guy to talk to and does fantastic work at a reasonable price. He did choke tubes on a Franchi Al-48 for me.

Backboring requires a lathe. Doing the forcing cone doesn't (but a lathe makes it a lot faster).

If you have the time, you can take a NRA Summer gonne-smithing class at Trinidad State and do your own.
