Nothing more than a suggestion - It might be nice to have a category on the Forum for stolen or lost weapons. ??

I just moved into an apartment 6 weeks ago and we're still culminating the evidence to find out possible entry and exit. I have a north facing window with perfect outside prints pulled off the glass (thank God I washed these windows thoroughly six weeks ago when I moved in) and we have a back door that was unlocked with broken chain. I have Det. M. Takaki on this case in Near North and they are taking it very seriously, as they should with guns stolen. This is my best experience so far with CPD, as they have been completely accommodating and just as nervous about this scumbag as me.

Wagonman, I am roughly at Armitage and California. You have a comrade who parks his squad car on my block, K9 unit up around O'Hare. Haven't talked to him yet, like I said, I'm new to the block.

All info on the perp (my neighbor could ID him, didn't call police) is 22-25 Puerto Rican male with red baseball cap, black t-shirt, and blue jeans. My insider info from friends around the area is that it could be the Maniacs, rival gang of the Cobras.
