speaking of guns in the movies
In a very old James Cagney movie, where he plays a gangster, he has someone in custody in the trunk of a car and he asks the person, "You need some air in there?" or something to that effect, then he blazes away at the trunk with a .45.
Of all the gun-firing scenes I've seen in the movies, that one stands out as looking so incredibly real.
Does anyone know if, in fact Mr. Cagney DID fire live rounds into the trunk?
I know this deviates from the original, but the original reminded me of my long-held curiosity.
