Greetings,
I was surfing around various anti sites, to see what new amusing things they were saying these days, and I believe we have a winner. The "Join Together" site had an article up about a woman who foiled an attempted rape by shooting a man who broke into her home. I thought that was an unusual news report for an anti site, but then they ended with this quote:

"Criminal arrestees experience high levels of firearm victimization. Over half report being threatened with a gun and 42 percent have been shot at with a gun."

"Firearm victimization"? How tragic indeed. Kind of reminds me of some anti acquaintances from college. Part of their motive for hating guns was that a friend of theirs was killed with a gun. He let a man into his house who was carrying a pistol in his coat, and was promptly shot by him. Heartrending, as it was a loss of their good friend, and unmarried father of the child another friend was carrying.
The real kicker is, the man who killed him was his heroin supplier, from whom he had stolen to keep himself fixed. (I decided against pointing out that if their friend had answered the door with a shotgun in hand, this wouldn't have been an issue)
Think on it: if decent, hardworking people who steal from heroin dealers aren't safe, who among us is?
