I live in the Tulsa, OK area and was looking for someone to do work on my long range rifle. I was needing someone to install a Timney trigger, and properly install my scope. Thanks for any information

Your local gun shop, (relatively speaking), should know the contac point for one or two.

Get a copy of Precision Shooting or the Accurate Rifle. Both mags have lots of ads for folks that do that sort of things.

If your local gun shop doesn't carry these, you can got to the respective web sites, or to http://www.sinclairintl.com
where you can order copies.

You may even be able to get some info from places like Sierra's hotline #, (can't think of it right now), or he NRA.

Not much, but I hope it helps.

Regards
S.

Yeah, I really would rather do them myself, but I dont know the proper procedures and I felt like seeking help from someone that had done it for years would be wise. I hear people talk about lapping scope rings and stuff like that, and I have no idea what they are talking about. I am familiar with guns and their parts but have no idea about any of the machining or gunsmithing.

I have the Leupold Vari XIII Target and the Leupold one piece base with the adjustable windage and the twist in front ring. What do I need to do to the mounts before installing the scope? And what is the tightning procedure on the rings?

Thanks for the help.
