I am in a pending trade for a 357mag pistol pack by dan wesson for my tauras 627 357mag seven shot stainless ribber grips 6.5in with syn hip and sholder holster and 3 speedloaders and my s/w 624-1 38sp. 1.75in airweight with crimision j-boot lazor grips no exposed hammer.

Just to give a better idea:

Dan Wesson 15 pistol pack: The retail price on this is from $155 with the extra barrels going for + 60 per. So, the total book price is around $335. This is high end, low end is: $275 and that includes all barrels (sources: Gun Traders Guide high end, Modern Gun Values low end).

Now yours:

Tauras 627: (Is it 627 or 607? I can't find a 627) but anyway, the 607 is $350 new or $300 in great condition. Only found the 607 in the Modern Gun Values book.

S&W 624 w/out the goodies: Perf. condition: $ 325, Exc. $275. Low end is $295 (all sources are from the same books mentioned above).

Dan Wessons are great revolvers, but they have pathetic resale values. There's no way I would trade all of that for a pistol pack. With a little wheeling and dealing you can find the extra barrels on E*** for good prices.
I bought a new 4 inch barrel and shroud for my M22 DW for $49 off that site.

Thanks for the help wayne, its funny the dealer I am doing the trade with name is wayne. So I guess just trading the tauras 627 7 shot 357mag lookes like a tracker but is not with the holsters speed loaders etc would be a fair trade.

I am looking up the cost of the crimision grip lazor j-boot grips now.
 
Majic is right on about the resale value of Dan Wesson pistols. I owned 22LR, 357 mag. and 44 mag. DW's. They were a nightmare to get rid of. I took them to a gunshow and people kept trying to sell me additonal DW's or DW barrels cheap.

I know the resale of dan wesson's arn't that good but they are in my opinion high quality revolvers. I own 2 ruger's, 1 taurus, 1 s/w. Hell I am still willing to trade my s/w or taurus for that dan wesson model 15 pistol pack. Maybe I can bargin with the nevil island dealer on a for a long gun maybe an encore carbine or a ruger #1 in 204 ruger. :cool:

Do still have your dan wesson's or did you trade or sell them? If you still got them please post some picks and maybe I will give them a good home. :D
 
They're gone. It took a long time, but I finally sold them to a fellow that truely wanted the pistols to shoot, not just one of the good ol' boy horse traders drawing a disability check.
 
i picked up the dan wesson pistol pack.

The dealeer gave me an even trade although he already posted my two revolvers on gunbroker.com so he will defintely make a profit. The dan wesson's pistol packs are hard to find and now i have a much verzital firearms since it has 2.5,4,6,8 barrels. I kinda want a longer barrel for scoped hunting to go along with my ruger srh 9.5in in 44mag. LoL I am such a revolver lover I need to find a nice houge grip and tune this dan wesson 15-2
for ccw. Any reccomemendations on what holster will keet a blued monson dan wesson shiny and clean?
