What FUD said. Gun Tests does not accept advertising from gun companies, so their tests are ideally unbiased by financial motivation. Note that other gun rags accept copious amounts of advertising. Did you ever see Combat Handguns, American Hand Gunner, or Guns & Ammo ever write a review where they said they would not reccomend the gun being tested? I haven't. Gun Tests says this on a regular basis for guns that don't meet their stated standards.
Is Gun Tests perfect? No. Many of their criteria are subjective. For example, they may provide the accuracy speces @ 25 yards for a pistol for X number of shots (not subjective). Then they may include the fact that the gun did or did not seem to fit well in the hands of the testers or did not fit comfortably (subjective) and this might turn out to be a deciding point when they rate the 3 or 4 guns being evaluated. This particular gun may not rate as well because it felt lousy in the hands to them, even though it shot well. While subjective, the observations may be valid. If you are interested in making a purchase, you might check the feel in more detail. Maybe it feels good to you? If so, fine, but at least you know it also shoots well.
