While watching American Guns last night, I saw an advertisement for yet another gun show series called "Guns & Gold". Apparently it's a show that discusses the value of certain guns and/or what determines the value such as famous/notorious owners, etc .. Looks like it might be a really cool show but it made me think of all the new gun shows that have popped up on the "mainstream channels" in just the last year or so ...
Sons of Guns
American Guns
Triggers: Weapons That Changed The World"
Top Shot
And now ... "Guns & Gold"!
This doesn't even include all the gun shows on the Sportsman Channel like TacTV, Davidsons Gallery of Guns, Guns & Ammo, etc ...
I'm really loving the fact that guns are shown in a more positive light on TV and that the interest in the sport is growing, but why the sudden change? Who and/or what do we have to thank?
