Gun Shows in Southern California?

Well, you just missed one here this last weekend (Sept. 18-19) at the Antelope Valley Fair Grounds in Lancaster.

If you're in the NRA the mag has a list in the back . They are usually at the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa about every 2 months . Check out the web site for Crossroads of The West . They run a lot of gunshows besides the ones here in Orange County .

As posted before you might try contacting the Orange County Fairgrounds in Costa Mesa, also the Del Mar Race Track in San Diego County. Both of these places still hold "Gun Shows" from time to time. Also last March a gunshow was held in San Bernardino at the National Orange Show Fairgrounds, however I dont know if they are going to have another.

Keep in mind that in the PRK most of the Gun Show will be trinkets and beannie babie stuffed animals! The only people worth looking up is Miwall Ammo for decent ammo prices. Otherwise everyone really is just showing their wares! :D

Most vendors that actually have firearms on their tables are either just "displaying" or way too proud to sell what they brung!!

Good Luck!!!

"Deals" at gun shows in So. Cal are not really what they used to be. You may be able to find some unique pieces from certain of the table vendors, but the prices are most often high retail on new guns, and excessive on used. I found that right pricing may be found outside the buildings at the O.C. shows (Crossroads) when private parties bring a rifle or handgun to sell. Of course, all Federal and state laws apply. Seller and buyer simply seek out a transfer dealer of whom there are a half dozen or so and effect the transfer. The ten calendar day wait applies to ALL firearms unless you've got your C&R 003 FFL for 50 year old or older pieces and a CA COE (Certificate of Eligibility) issued by DOJ. I always bring ALL my paperwork to effect a buy if I find something worthwhile (which for a handgun now includes DL, auto registration for proof of residency, and handgun safety certificate). In fact, sometimes I prepare a checklist before hand depending on what I might encounter that I just can't live without.
