I think its a lyman but there are no markings . Was missing the reservoir cap and the set/ locking screw for the fine adjustment. Took the cap off an edge shaving cream and it fits perfect found a screw in the old peanut butter jar i keep extra screws in and I its good to go.

Paid 12$ also picked up small base rcbs die for 308 also 12$ .

There was an rcbs x die for 308 but he wanted 30$ and i never heared of x dies before. Read up about them, seems like the jury is split 50/50 .

Lots of reloading stuff at the show. A little pricey at the door 12$ ...........I just realised everything I bought cost 12$ not everything i bought some flints for the muzzle loader they were cheep. 2.50$

I'll second that Lyman 55 opinion. Amazing how that orange edge shaving cream lid fit perfectly, and the right color to boot....good score guy.
I see you're using IMR 4064. That's been my go to powder for 40 years.

chillym,

Next time you need gunflints, try this website. I don't know if Rich is still knapping them out or not, but the last time I bought flints from him (and it's been awhile) he made a good flint for a good price. Two and a half bucks apiece, as you mentioned, is just awful. I use his 3/4" X 7/8" flints in my large Silers. The prices show from 5 years ago, so I don't know what you'll find if you contact him. Worth a look.

Shootbrownelk, nice handle . Yea 4064 shotos best out of my old guns with4895 a close second. Why fix what not broke., so with a handle like shootbrownelk I have to ask ....have you bagged an elk? I went on my first elk hunt this year. 9 days in a tent in the rocky mts. Unguided on public land. Had a great time. But didn'T get any chances to score.

Reinert, thanks for the heads up on the flints.
