fought the hoards all day. every deer rifle wallyworld sold was for sale at retail + $100. Dealers retail + 30%+tax. Colts twice collectors value. S&W getting as high.

Oh well got my excercise.

Leaving show, what the Hell, one MORE pass thru the parking lot.
Guy looking at gun. Is it for sale? Yes. are you selling it to the other man? He replies no.

so we find a S&W Model 29-2 44mag 6" in 98% shape. Price was fair, considering todays market. exchanged CCH info. gun is mine.:D :D

That is the gun I have been searching for for months!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Parking lot?

The indoor shows around here have patrols and will arrest you for dealing in the parking lot. I have been looking for a decent Marlin 30 30 at the shows this year. Even the used looking cheapo hardwood economy models are selling from dealers for about 275$. Used to be able to get those for dirt cheap. Now lever guns must no longer be passe around here, as late model Win. 94's with finish damage from being stored in a truck bed with gravel are selling for more than the Marlins. 100$ Ruger 10-22's are now selling for twice that. Shows around here seem to have lost dealer or seller turnover. Same old faces, same old guns for past few years. Keep bringing that bag full of rusty relics and someone will eventually buy one for 5 times it value, they think. At least I can find good deals on accesories and ammo. And fair prices on combloc surplus that comes in by the shipload at scrap metal wholesale prices. :)

People ask me all the time, where can I get this or that.Go to the gun show. You never know what is going to be there. You have to be there to pick up the deals on Saturday morning off of the tables.2 boxes of factory .32 s@w longs for $5 a box.5 one pounders of 777 for $10 each.35 boxes of factory Winchester 20 ga. shells for $70,thats $2 a box.And this stuff had no prices marked on them.Just ask,if you don`t like the price, walk away. The deals are there but you have to find them.I watched a fellow pick up a Colt 6inch stainless Anaconda for $400.He was the lucky one that day.The gun show I go to has a pretty good turn over on items there. Not the same old stuff all the time.Happy hunting.

Not been to a gun show in well over a year been trying to stay away but just when I figured I was safe I find there is one in two weeks. And here I sit with $400 in my pockets?????????????????:D
