Gun show CZ550 bargain and trend!

I did the Grand Rapids, Mi. gun show this past weekend and found the best bargain on the floor, I think. A beautifully stocked, unfired, CZ550 American in .308 with three mags and mounts and rings. Also heard and witnessed numerous dealers giving up on shows because of rising costs and slow sales. Most dealers are fiercely competitive and I hate to see them go down the drain as we will be faced with only full retail options.

I'm not familiar with the CZ550, so I can't comment.

Regarding gun shows, here in California, the problem is that the assault weapon ban and the high-capacity magazine bans have made it tough for out-of-state sellers to come here. They have to re-evaluate their whole inventory to come to California. Also, I've never bought a gun at a show. Around here, most (maybe all?) the gun sellers are from California. Most just bring some of their store inventory to the show and try to sell it for the same price as at the store. I enjoy the shows and usually buy ammo and accessories, but I think I can do better ordering guns or negotiating with local stores to buy them.
