Gun Show Belleville IL . . .

Just got back from the gun show at the Belle Clair fairgrounds in Belleville IL.
Looked like maybe 1/2 to 3/5ths of the vendors compared to pre covid. Not nearly as many customers.

Saw a lot of overpriced Ammo. 20cents or more for a round of 22LR. Some not quite that bad.

I paid $1.50 a round for some Norma 380 SD ammo. I need some so . . . .

Bought four pounds of Titegroup for $108. Not too bad considering that I didn't have to pay any shipping or hazmat. When it's "in" at Midway it's $188 for 8 pounds so I think I did okay there.

Sold off an H&R 410 "snake slayer." I was looking for $120 and got $110. Okay!

And the only primers I saw were CCI small rifle at $100 for a brick of 1000. Even at that price I'd save money on reloading, but it's just too much.

Gun prices were the usual somewhat inflated gun show stuff. Talked to a lot of people but didn't handle any guns. Nothing caught my fancy.

All in all an enjoyable way to spend a couple hours.

Life is good.
