They make Sentry safes about 5 miles from my home. They are great for fire protection but not so much for burglary prevention. Basically if its high school kids out on a lark they'll stop 'em but a serious thief with a buddy accomplice will use a crowbar to ply right through. Unfortunately that's the case with most residential "consumer" safes in the under $500 price range (eg, Stack-on), which is why your best bet is to find a used, commercial quality safe. They come up for sale all the time with stores closing, auction sales, etc.
btw, I thought my safe was really good. Then its electronic lock started not working (lesson learned: avoid electronic locks esp in high humidity basement sites and stick with the old fashioned mechanical, dialing locks like Sgt & Greenleaf) so I had to call a locksmith. I figured it would take him a while to get into my safe....it took him not 5 minutes. So much for my super security safe when placed at the mercy of a safe cracker who knows his stuff. lesson #2 -- don't count on your safe alone; use lights, alarm, dog, etc. as part of a complete home security plan.
