So I entered a raffle for a fundraiser for disable veterans. Which prize you you want? I would love that Henry Big Boy but I'd be happy with just about anything :)

None of them are very attractive to me except perhaps the Henry or the Ruger single six. I

I'd rather have a smaller choice with higher value guns.

I selected by default the Henry Big Boy .44 Magnum. Some of the rest I would not use, or I already own the remainder.

I do have a Henry Big Boy Carbine in .45 Colt which came with the big loop. It is a good rifle and is a beauty. I would prefer the .357 over the .44 since I already reload for it. But hey, winners can't be choosy.

Out of the ones listed, I picked the Henry 44. I'd rather have the Henry 30-30, but I'd like to have the 44 almost as much.

After looking around, I see a number of Henry fans. I thought this gun manufacturer was going to be short lived. I see I was wrong - I think they may be the new Ruger.

Sheesh. Twenty-one firearms, and only one I might be interested in owning -- the Henry .22 Mag lever gun. I could have checked the Ruger Single Six, but I already have two of them, so not really anything I'd waste a lottery ticket on.
