How is that implemented under the SAFE act? Give a specific link as I don't think this is the case.

There is no federal law that prohibits persons taking anti-depressants from owning firearms. The limitations are those who have been involuntarily committed to a mental institution, convicted of a felony or specified violent misdemeanors, or who have been adjudicated incompetent.
After that it is a state by state inquiry. I can state that California has no such restriction on gun ownership.

I now I think I see a light bulb going off over the heads of some of my state representatives.
Sigh. Guess we have to CONTINUALLY watch these guys-which I suppose we should be doing anyway.

Although I could find no law against it here in PA, when I broke my back I was on some heavy painkillers. I stopped carrying until I could reduce the dosage.
