I recently bought box of books, catalogs, papers, ect. There is a lot of owners manuals
for older model guns. I guess 1960s-80s. Can any of you collectors value these for me?

Both eBay and GunsAmerica have listings for manuals. Those will give you a ballpark idea. Other than that (asking prices will almost certainly be inflated), you'd have to have a professional look at them, as value is a matter of condition, scarcity, and desirability.

Going into the above websites will give you a ball park estimate on what they are going for. I suspect that the Marlins might see some good action. There are always folks that are looking for this material for their guns.... :)

Good luck and;

The value of gun manuals is limited, these days, by the fact that one can now download manuals for practically everything. Here, for instance: http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FIREARMS/

There's not much incentive for someone who needs a manual for a particular gun, especially a common one, to spend money for it, so the market may well be restricted to people who collect manuals for their own sake.
