Gun license for DVV's dangerous...group says

"My legislation is based on one very simple concept: Lives are saved when law-abiding citizens are provided with every means necessary to defend themselves against violent criminals," Metcalfe added.

Judy Yupcavage of the Pennsylvania Coalition Against Domestic Violence (PCADV) disagreed, saying research does not support Metcalfe's position.

"All of the national research we've seen and all of the data points to the fact that it is not safer to be armed for self-defense," said Yupcavage, director of communications at PCADV.

What about the fact that women have, undeniably, been known to have been killed by their domestic abusers while waiting out a waiting period to purchase a gun for defense?

"ALL of the national research" makes it clear that it is safer to be unarmed than to be armed? Even though what I said is undeniably true? That people who were unarmed because of the law were victimized even though they sought a gun for protection?

That guy Yupcavage is a lying joke.

Yeah a mom and here kids are being beaten and molested...but when she does not pass the background check for an old pot charge...she is denied. And her and her kids are later found in the trunk of their car at the bottom of a lake. Its bullcrap....our government is messed up!:mad:
