Gun Grabber or Anti-Constitutional?

It is a political year and its time to refine the language we use in our arguments if we are to win over the masses. I was just thinking, wouldn't it be more effective to describe someone like HCI as "The anti-constitutional group known as HCI". Rather than "the gun grabbing group know as HCI"?

The same holds true for Anti-constitutional politicians.

By the way, did you catch Al Gore calling all NRA members sick. He says this in front of the children and spouses of NRA members who might be watching TV. In the meantime, he describes a deviate like Clinton as a great man. Go figure.

I prefer to refer to them as "statist." They believe that force is the perogative of the state alone, and that the state is paramount in importance over the individual.

It may backfire on you. Most Americans won't know what you mean by that term, so they will think you are making up something out of thin air just to defame someone.

How, after all, could concern about public safety be unconstitutional?

The goals and aims of HCI and their followers and imitators are assaults on the Bill of Rights. They are making a determined assault upon the costitutional balance of our 200 year old Republic.
You should call a spade a spade. You should always denounce these types and the politicans who pander to them as Anti-Bill of Rights, Anti-Civil Rights, Anti-Civil Liberties, Anti-Constitiutional and Anti-American.
Never miss a chance to denounce their authoritarian character. It will come out if you press them every time, for it is there.
Don't worry about their feelings when they don't care about your Constitutional Rights.
