Gun Giveaway

I checked out the site and rules and was a little bothered. First of all, the information you provide MUST match voting records, according to the site. So obviously somebody is getting ahold of voter registration information and then Gun Giveaway information. This seems a little out of sorts.

Also, by signing up, each person agrees to receive email form the Directed Fire people and their sponsors and then any updates on developments related to the 2nd Amendment.

I think I will bypass the junk email and correlation with my voter registration. Of course if I don't enter, the odds are better that one of you will win since the odds are dependent on the number of entries.

The way I understood it, the guy is starting a site, and he wants people to be registered voters. Proof of voter registration is required to claim a prize, not to enter. It seems he wants people to be active in politics. He just asks for basic entry nformation. I just don't seem to be able to read any deeper into it than that.

Just don't enter if it makes you uncomfortable. Gun raffles and contests aren't uncommon, I enter them once in awhile. I've never had a bad experience.

That's my .02 worth
