Hi all,
I am a new shotgunner and currently use an 870P for skeet shooting. It fits me very poorly. I'm 6'3" tall, 205lbs, and have long arms. If I were to continue to use my 870P, it wold need it all: increased LOP, add cast off, increase drop so my eyes are on the barrel when mounted, and probable modify pitch too.
I am in the market for a new shotgun to be used primarily for skeet and would like to discuss my options with a competant gun fitter in my area. Obviously, I am considering an O/U or semi-auto, but there are pros and cons to both, especially when it comes to adjustability.
Does anyone know of any gun fitters in the York, PA area (South-Central PA) that could help me out? Ideally, they should have one of those infinitely-adjustable stocks so we can work out all the details, discuss the proper type of gun for my shooting goals, and then once I purchase the gun, they should be able to do the adjustment work.
Thanks in advanced for your help!
