I'm very impressed with this book, as well as Max' first book, "Big Bore Revolvers". Covers Ruger's history, the old guns, the new guns and everything in-between. Great section on custom Rugers as well. First book was paperback only but the new one is a hardcover and all pictures are in color. Highly recommended reading for you revolver shooters.

Yep. A good book.... Also Max's other book is very good too. I Concur. Wish though they'd proof it a bit more carefully. One nice glossy photo of a revolver is labeled as a Vaquero for example ... when it isn't. Minor .. but ...

I've got both books and have really enjoyed them. Max did an excellent job presenting the material in an interesting and highly readable manner. And the photography in both books is just outstanding. For anyone interested in Ruger Revolvers or Big Bore Revolvers, these books belong in your library. Highly recommended.
