Gun deaths at 30 year low, but hospitals keep killing

Speaking of leftist agendas, bad news for the gun-control commissars.
According to the Centers for Disease Control, gun deaths dropped 21%
between 1993 and 1997 to the lowest level in more than 30 years.
Firearm-related injuries fell 41%. The total number of fatalities
dropped to 32,436 in 1997 (more than half of them suicides). The
falling gun death rate correlates with the falling rate of violent
crime.

And speaking of disease control, experts now estimate that 98,000
Americans die from medical "mistakes" every year in hospitals alone.
That makes hospital errors the eighth leading cause of death, ahead of
traffic accidents, breast cancer, AIDS and, of course, gun deaths. Now
we understand the logic of Ms. Rodham-Clinton's socialized medicine
plan: If implemented, it would create at least a five-day waiting
period before receiving medical treatment.

This is from "The Federalist" weekly email.

Figure is actually higher, closer to 125,000 killed, with more than 1 million injured. It's been covered in here before. The left ignores it, just as they ignore the riots in Seattle. www.whitehouse.gov as of Friday, is still playing out the smiley face of WTO talks. Do you really think that given that take on a national event, they care about hospital deaths?
I am not a right to lifer, but somewhere a line has to be drawn. I find that I fall onto their side of said line, and as such, believe that Hillary falls on the other side of that line. In a lot of ways, I find that I parrallel the unsaid-issue here, in much the same manner as the general population of the country feels concerning gun control.
