Gun Dealer Colorado Springs

The place to go for reloading whatever, is Broken Star Trading Post, on Montebello pl.

Shootin' Den on Fillmore stocks alot of stuff, but are high priced.

L&L Distributing was bought by a nice couple. They'll pretty much order anything you want for cost plus 10%. Ruger Dealer but will order anything. Nice folks, I take them the biz for guns, and buy reloading componants at Broken Star, He needs the biz, he's about to go under. (He's nice to and good prices.)

IF you want to just oogle at a lot of guns, go to Specialty Sports at Academy and Drennen. If you want friendly and competent gunsmithing, go to Hickman Rifles on Tia Juana Street. If you need reloading supplies, or a box of primers or powder, definately go to Broken Star on Montebello. Ruel (sp?) is a great guy who bought out the business for Sam, but is still struggling. He's a Dillon retailer, so he's a good guy to know in the local area. If you need match stuff, you best bet is Neal Johnson's on Buchannan, but don't expect much except smallbore and air rifle stuff. If you need to be raped, or you need something RIGHT NOW, go to Shotin' Den...otherwise, stay away.

Steve/Edward,

Did Broken Star move? Last time I went by there (2 weekends ago) there was a dry cleaner there.

Ed - you sure you don't mean L&S Dist. - I'll give them a thumb's up too.

I try to stay out of Specialty Sports - way too many guns in there!!
Prices are fairly high - but once in a while they'll have sales on various product lines.

Check out the Gart Brothers fliers in the papers - especially around hunting season. In the fine print you'l often see things like $100 off all in stock Remington rifles. I walked out with a new 700VS for $480 a while ago.

Yes, Broken Star moved. Same little strip mall thing, further up the line...

Yes, I meant L&S Distributing instead of L&L!...Thanks for the correction.
