Compromising, capitulating, and being apathetic in dealing with the anti-gunners is the same approach the Republican Party has taken with the leftists, for many decades, to the point of obscuring everything that defines America's greatness.

A rather powerful free Classifieds in Utah (affiliated with CBS) has announced, for the second time that I know of, that they are "temporarily suspending" and, therefore blocking, your Constitutional rights to sell, buy, or trade gun-related items on their website. This, of course, after they have made us dependent on their monopoly.

Pertaining to the horrendous event at Sandy Hook School in Newtown, CT., they have decided to temporarily "outlaw your nail clippers" and "granny's knitting needles" because of what criminals and lunatics are doing.

They do, of course, have the legal right to do whatever they want with their website, but they are abusing the power thereof.

They are being dictatorial and have decided for you (Like the federal government) that you must be reined in. That you cannot be trusted to govern yourselves with "politically correct" principles. And you are buying and selling "too many guns". It's alright when there are only a few guns, but the arbitrary "too many" is "too much"!

If some psycho uses a chainsaw to dismember his victims… why don't they shut down that portion of their Classified ads along with dangerous garden tools?

Some people were selling their guns to get cash to pay for Christmas gifts, some to pay their rent or car payments, some simply to get a good deal.

The telephone company may not like what you are saying to your friends on their phone lines… but that does not give them the moral right or legal authority to cut off your service.

The arrogance of it all makes me sick!

Pass the saltines.

Here is an alternative website: utahguns.com :)

I was sad to see this happen to ksl as well. I got my BPS for an amazing price off of a KSL ad. He got rent money he really needed, I got an amazing deal.
That being said I wondered if this wasn't something propmted by the legal department. Could someone sue KSL if the weapon used to kill their relative passed through the KSL ad system? The first thing that lawyers look for is who has deep pockets that is involved in any way. Considering that bonneville communications owns KSL, those are some very deep pockets.

Agree though I may, this is simply not the board for political speeches. Tough call sometimes, but this one was easy.
