Greeting's All-

I had searched the world over for a very long time to find a old model
2nd issue ('47 to '72) nickel Colt Detective Special with a 2" barrel in
99% (LNIB) pristine NRA condition. And , on Friday (15 July 05) I did
manage to find one in that very condition. Cost? My price of a NIB
S&W model 642; which amounted to $297 + 9% sales tax. Now, I'm
one happy camper~ :D

Ala Dan.......

Your one very good shopper. I might say a tad lucky to boot. ;) I wish my luck in finding that revolver would pop. Congrats and good shooting..... :D

Many thanks guys for the kind words. :D

harbinger my friend-

This one is definitely a "safe queen". Its in very pristine condition, and
dont even have a cylinder "drag line" on it. I'll just admire the quality
work of days gone by~ :D

Best Wishes,

Dan,

What a truly great find (I’m envious) and it is wonderful to hear from you. Does this mean the P220 will not be your daily carry? I see the Vols are rated #1 in some polls.

All the best -- Roy

Greeting's RWK My Friend-

As always its great to hear from you too! :) No sir, the SIG P220A
in .45 ACP will remain as my daily CCW piece. What a change, so
many firearms and too many choices? Wow, why couldn't I have
had that problem when I was a bit younger (ha-ha-ha) :D ?

BTW Roy, many thanks for the congrat's~ I sure hope my
Vol's do well this season!

Best Wishes,
