guess that holster!!!

Alright found this in an old trunk and it is in decent shape but the stitches that hold the button flap are degraded gut everything else in top shape except where is shows heavy use. now my question is ....what is it for.

I dont know but where the magazine wore on the leather doesn't have a circle wear mark like a nambu would have. It seem like a box shaped magazine
 
Looks like a police holster, judging from the design it could be Czech, East German, Romanian, Hungarian, etc., possibly for a PSM pistol, very common police pistol in Warsaw Pact nations.
 
European, probably

The characteristics of that holster are very consistent with European holsters of the early part of the 20th Century.

The full flap, flap closure, magazine pouch and natural brown finish are very typical. Probably for a .32 ACP (7.65 Browning) semi-automatic of a number of countries of origin.

One presumes the pistol was not the bearer's first line of defense.
