GSG5 irons confusion

I know the proper sight picture on these H&K knock-offs, but I cannot get this thing to zero at 25yds. Its about 4-5" high at 25yds and I have the tallest front sight on it, and tried all the rear adjustments. I spent two hrs trying to figure it out and went home. Does anyone know if im missing something here, or does someone have a cheap red dot for <85$ that actually holds, as in the dot doesn't need to be co-witnessed with a front post to achieve accuracy? Looking for opinions guys!
 
OK, I don't mean to be a simpleton, but do you realize that the rear sight drum has peeps of different heights? Rotating the drum will give you different points of impact vertically.
 
I said I tried all rear adjustments, it simply wont configure to 25yards which is where I need it :cool:
