Grungy Winchester 94

Staff in Memoriam
Harley, I'm resurrecting an old beatup and battered Model 94 saddle-ring; serial number 279,xxx. Any idea of year of manufacture?

I'm 1,400 miles from my brain-book. Is it feasible for you to post an exploded view? I dis-assembled it a couple of years ago...Ah, you know the story. :)

Thanks, Art

Eatman:
My records indicate 1902

I can send you, by separate email, the disassem of the Model 94, not specifically the Saddle Ring.

Harley, everything came through clean and clear. Thanks.

The gun spent a number of years in Mexico, I was told. Somewhere along the way the barrel (originally a .25-35) got obstructed. Drills and punches don't do any good; it's as though somebody stuck an arc-welding rod in the barrel and turn on the juice! Damfino.

I picked up a .30-30 barrel, cheap, and got it all cleaned up and ready to go back together. Dunno what I'll do with it after that...

Fun, though.
