Any suggestions?? I have been using (shooting prone) a large but thin piece of cloth held down with rocks but after a few shots it tends to get rolled. I need something easy to stow and transport. A poncho liner perhaps???

they make weighted shooting mats but some of them get pricey. for me when i did my 1000yd matches prone i would get an insulated sleeping bag that zipped fully open and lay it flat. also works great for catching brass.

I now have a weighted shooting mat that i got from a tactical shooting supply store that is 48x60.

here is one that my friend uses at some ar matches he goes to.

I just bought one of Midway USA's shooting mats for $25 when it was on sale, originally $50 i believe, but it is made very well and has alittle bit of weight to it. It will probably hold up better to the 50BMG wind blast and it has two fold out fabric ears at the end of it that you could probably stake to the round for extra security if you wanted to
