Grips for Taurus Revolver

Hi Guys,
I have a quick questions for you all.

I have a Taurus Model 85UL that has the factory rubber grips on it. Is there any other grips out there that would make it a little softer to shoot (if that makes any sense)? I like shooting it, but it's gets a little bitey after awhile. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

By the way, what is the difference between the 85 and the 850 CIA other than the CIA is hammerless?

You guys (and gals) are always such great help.

Well, I've switched over to Taurus grips because they allow for softer shooting. They are softer in feel than the big Butler Creek(Uncle Mike's), and those are the only other rubber grips I know of that cover the backstrap of the frame.

If you can find a pair that'll fit, Pacmayr Compac grips would work; you'd have to get used to crack where grips halves join together though...

I assume you have the Taurus 2 finger rubber grip that came with the snub? In addition, they also make a 3 finger version for a "full grip", this may offer you just a tad better control and comfort. Good shootin.
