Grips for Older Browning Buck Mark Micro

I have an older Browning Buck Mark Micro and recently purchased a Hogue G10 grips for it. It seems the grips are a poor fit. With the new grips installed the slide won't lock back on an empty magazine.

Is there anyone else who makes grips for older Buck Marks that do NOT have thumb rests?

There are so many new Buck Mark frames now (UDX, URX, etc.) that it's really confusing. I'd appreciate any info or advice.

Does anyone know if any company sells flat (no thumb rest) grips for an older Browning Buck Mark Micro made around 1998-2000?

I tried the Hogue aluminum off Amazon but the left panel did not allow the slide to lock back on an empty magazine.

I'd appreciate any suggestion!

Do not know how to send pics on PM.
Here are the pics.

Buck Mark Grips

Have you called Winchester / Browning? I recently called, asked about grips for a 22 year old Buckmark, got a positive answer and a price and three days later I had them.

Browning was bad about redesigning the Buckmark at the drop of a hat.
If it were mine, I'd just modify the grips you have now

The constant changes are why I always preferred Rugers

JJNA; just curious did the Hogue aluminum grips fit the frame nicely though? with the exception of it stopping the slide from locking open, particularly around the edges? I saw somewhere else that those particular grips bind the slide release lever and hence may stop the slide release from doing its job, but you can easily dremel or file off the edge off that area of the slide release a tad and then should not bind...anyway I want those grips to fit a Buckmark Micro and am not afraid to dremel that spot if they fit the frame edge very well, I'd still get them. Thanks,

ps, I am not an expert on the different frame sizes so not sure what frame the micro uses...

Yes, other than that mishap, the Hogue aluminum grips fit my early Browning Micro Buckmark well. Since then I acquired a set of wood Eagle grips from a fellow forum member, and it has the very same problem. I am thinking about studying the matter a bit more and sanding out the area of the left grip that is interfering with the slide lock operation.
