Grip suggestions for a SP101...Oversized??

I have been looking for some decent grips and have been considering the Pachmayr compac grips. What would you guys suggest? Anything specific to an oversize grip? Just want something to cut down on the .357 loads I've been shooting outta this little cannon.

I have a pair of the grips you mentioned and i think they really help on my sp-101. It takes the sting out of the 125s and helps a little with the 158s. Good Luck

Hogue. I occasionally put the OEM grips back on to remind myself why I switched to Hogue. They just fit my hand perfectly.

I'll second the Hogues. They seem to add control and comfort

Got Pachy Compacs on my SP-101 3"er and they fill the hand more fully and make shooting full house .357 mag loads more comfortable.

Buying another, larger, gun will also make shooting .357 loads a lot more pleasureable! (Just giving you a rationalization to add another gun to your collection, that's all!)

Depends on how you use it

I always get a kick out of people that buy small weapons for concealment and then but bigger grips on them...

The next size up would give you more capacity and longer site plane with about the same concealablilty!

I went through the same evolution and ended up back with the stock grips eventually.

If you just punch paper and are not concerned with concealment, get whatever feels good

I dunno, sometims a bigger grip works better on a small gun.....I prefer hogue
