Grip recomendations?

Hey all,

I have tried many cheap grips for my Security Six, but nothing feels right.
The factory wood is as good as i have right now but doesn't quite fit my hand.
I think i'm looking for a bit more palm swell in a grip.

Any recomendations for nice wood grips?
Are the Hogue Monogrips anygood?

I have read of fitting problems with the rubber monogrip on a security six, so hopefully the wood ones are fitted correctly.

Thanks in advance!

I don't have a SS, but I like Hogue Monogrips on most of the guns I've used with them (GP100 and S&W 686). I've had a set of the wood ones on my GP100 for a couple years now.

If they make them for the SS, Nils makes great grips, but they're expensive. Had I discovered them before I bought the Hogues, I would get a set of those. They run about $115-$120 for the GP100, but they feel sooooo nice.

They have a website, but I'll be darned if I can find the address. Do a search here or over at THR for Standing Wolf and Nills and I'm sure you'll turn up the info. He's a fan of their grips I believe.

The new grips on my service six are from Eagle Grips.
