Green Dot Pressures

Can anyone give an estimation of what pressure is being generated with 7.5 grains of Green Dot behind a .45 caliber 255 grain cast bullet?

This would be in a .45 Colt with a Lee 452-255-RF.

My main interest is if this charge would be at or below 14,000 psi.

Thanks

I have some older Alliant data which shows 6.8 gr of Green Dot with a 250 lead bullet as max, giving 12,300 psi. Sounds to me like the 7.5 load would be a little over 14kpsi.

Your fine. 7.5g GD load is ~equivelent to 8.5g of Unique BTW... So you are hovering around 14K... I tested up to 8.0g, but settled on 7.0g GD under 250-255g bullets.
