I want to let everyone on TFL know about a great web site for pro-gun policy research. The organization is the National Center for Policy Analysis, and the website is www.ncpa.org.

They have a report available on the site entitled "Suing Gun Makers -- Hazardous to Our Health", which debunks the legal and sociological arguments behind the gun liability lawsuits. They also have reports on other gun-related issues. Great factual ammunition for op-ed pieces, letters to the editor, etc. Every informed gun-rights defender needs to bookmark this one!
 
P.S.: NCPA's report on the gunmaker suits contains great information about the number of times fireams are used in self-defense. That report alone is a compact library of pro-CCW statistics.
