Just picked this up today. I wanted a quality .22 pinker, with a little style. Awesome little gun.

Maybe a loaded round indicator. A set up like this is common on many European arms. PS - my Ruger Mark III Have this feature.

It is an Italian made Beretta Model 87 Cheetah .22.

It's my all time favorite to shoot at the range.

You now own an absolute classic.

Now you need an 84 or 85 in 380 to pair with it.

The little Cheetah is a keeper. This is offhand at 50 feet using CCI Stingers. I put about 200 rounds through shooting steel plates and some paper targets. Not one malfunction.

I was wondering too but I took the advice someone else gave me right here on this forum. I saved the picture then opened it with the Windows 'picture viewer' program and ran the magnification up. It got blurry in a hurry but I could just make out 'Cheetah' and with that to go on Google told me in a thrice that I was looking at Beretta model 87 Cheetah .22.

So that's the lengths I will go to when I'm too embarrassed to ask what might be a dumb question.

P.S. To everybody that tells me the takedown lever and the open slide should immediately have told me it was a Beretta...well okay.

MK70SS from your target it definitely does look like a 'keeper'.

The 80's series Cheetah has to be one of the most classic of pistols. I have two of the 85F's.

I might consider trading one for yours if .22 ammo was not so dang expensive. I guess we will never get even close to the price of .22 just five years ago.
