Great Find at LGS

I was looking for a GP-100 in 327 mag but they are hard to find and/or the seller is asking some crazy price. So today during my lunch break, I stop in a LGS a couple of blocks from work. I saw a number of Rugers marked "Demo Models" and one of the GP-100s had 327 mag on the tag. Like new, in the box with all of the papers. Couldn't believe my luck! It was a good day... :D

Congrats! Always nice to find something on your wish list.
I came across a beretta px4 sub compact last week. Not a revolver but one I have been wanting to pick up.

I had a 327 on lay away with an online retailer last year along with another gun, and after 6 payments they couldn't find the gun!
They applied my $ to the other gun I had on lay away but dang, anything in 327 was like hen's teeth so congrats!

Awesome! I've heard the .327 Fed Mag has the same or greater stopping power than .357 Magnum, but you get an extra shot and all with less recoil and muzzle blast. Sounds like a winner, and the GP should serve you well!

I have a Blackhawk in 327 mag but I wanted a double action revolver with adjustable sights. I saw this and it looked like new. Shot it today but I will post that in the 327 thread as I did some comparing between the Blackhawk and GP100. It did shoot very well.

Just curious... Has .327 ammo became easier to find.? I know that was an issue when the gun first hit the market.

Congrats on your sweet score by the way.

As far as ammo, I have never had any trouble getting it. In fact when all of the craziness was going on with ammo, 327 was always available. The people who were buying all of the ammo to resell just never were interested in 327 mag. Now I reload so I am not looking all of the time but when I order something from say Midway or the like, I was ordering a couple of boxes each time to get some brass built up. I am sure you can still get boxes of 50 for 22-28 dollars depending on where you buy.
