I just traded into a new Remington 700 ADL Synthetic in 308. The rifle came with the iron sights and comes with a hard case and Swift 4x12 scope. Oh, it also comes with a couple hundred rounds of ammo. My brother bought the gun new around 2 years ago and I think he may have taken it to the range once.
The trade? In Michigan's lower, it's shotgun for deer and he also prefers a scattergun for HD, so he's never really found a need for the 308 (OK, we all know about guns and real needs
). What he really needed was a new shotgun. Here's the trade part. I buy him a Remington 12 gauge 870 Express combo, and the 308 is mine. So we took a ride to a gun and knife show today.
I usually say that sometimes, it's just not worth the time it takes to chew through the restraints, but today was a banner day!
