Not only is the article pretty well done, most of the comments are very supportive. Thanks for sharing this one.

The most effective way to prevent violent firearms crime is to continue to eliminate the underlying cause of the criminal behavior itself.

In short, take away the motive, and the firearm is not even an issue anymore. People do not see a firearm, then make the choice to kill- in fact it’s just the opposite- people make the choice to kill first, then choose a firearm to do it.

Took a little searching to find the article but well woth the time.
