Grandfathers old single shot

I was given my grandfathers old bedroom gun. I need a stock for it but i cant fins a model number on it? Its a 16 ga. single shot springfield that is made by savage. the stock is a plastic material and is busted up. how do i go about locating a replacement stock?

Several years ago a friend acquired an old shotgun that needed a stock.

The hunt for that stock first required identifying the model. Gunstocks Inc. was able to both ID the shotgun from photos and provide the replacement stock.

Thats what im trying to figure out now. i know that once the gun is identified, it wont be a problem to locate a stock. I dont have many old guns but this is the only one that doesent have a model number stamped into the barrel or reciever? Im going to disassemble it for cleaning and see if there are any more numbers located somewhere else.
