just trying to figure approx how many reloads I would get from 1 lb of 777 FFF. say average 30 gr. per load. 180 gr per gun x 2 guns. thats 360 grains of powder.

True, a pound is 7000 grains by weight, but, measuring out "30 grains" of black powder substitutes with a black powder measure is not literally 30 grains by weight.
To get shots per pound, you will need a powder scale so you can tell how much "30 grains" of 777 really weighs.

Black powder measures are pretty close to actual weight if you are measuring real black powder but the substitutes are usually less dense than black powder. This is why shooters are warned to measure by volume and not weight.

The OP wanted an approximate number of reloads. He would get approximately 234 reloads out of a pound of T7 or 19 1/2 full reloads of his two six shooters; although, to be safe, he should only load five in each chamber which would give him 23.4 full reloads.

Now, to know exactly how many reloads he'd get out of a pound of T7, he'd have to break out his scales & do the math using the weight of a nominal 30 grain by volume amount of powder.

7000/30=233.3
234/12=19.5
1234/10=23.4

According to the following conversion sheet, 30 grains volume of black powder equals 22 grains of 777 by weight. That is not the weight adjusted for the 15% volume reduction of 777 but the actual weight of 30 volumetric grains of 777.

7000/22 (grains of 777 by weight) = 318 individual chamber loadings.
318/12 for 2 full revolver cylinders = 26.5 full reloads for 2 revolvers or 53 full cylinder reloadings of 6 rounds each.
