GP100 Wiley Clapp holster

My $$$....

If you have the time & $$$, Id suggest a custom shop holster in a horsehide or "exotic" like bison, rhino, shark, elk, etc. :D
I'm not much for leather tooling but I have seen some excellent holsters & gear.
For top US holster shops/firms that can produce a Ruger GP 3" holster, Id see; Galco, Milt Sparks, Mitch Rosen, DeSantis, Don Hume, Kramer, Kirkpatrick Leather, Wright Leather Works, Ken Null, El Paso Saddlery, Mernickle, Tex Shoemaker, Bianchi, Del Fatti.

I like the Wright Leather Works Predator & the new "Master" series. Milt Sparks is widely known for 3/4" revolver holsters.
I'd contact the shop before you pay anything or order so you are fully aware of what they offer & how long the shop time is. Many custom holster places are way behind due to the huge demand for concealment/field holsters.

I have this revolver, and I use the Mernickle PS6-DA. I also have their crossdraw for the same gun, but I almost never use it. It's not that it isn't comfortable. It's just that the high-ride one is more practical since I don't work out of car anymore. When I was on duty and not wearing a uniform, the crossdraw was nice, even though I barely got any use out of it before taking a desk job. I also have a Serpa holster, I think, that fits this, but it hasn't come out of the drawer in quite some time. It doesn't even compare for comfort, at least to me. I use a Serpa with my Glock, though, so I have nothing against it in general. The heavier a gun gets, though, the less I like them.

I have the 3" GP100 (non-WC). I use the Galco Summer Comfort IWB holster, which is very nice, and not too expensive.
