Govt Land Grab by Wildelife Agencies

I heard on Fox news this morning that Wildlife personnel are killing 700,000 salmon to get below the number for the endangered species laws to kick in, so that they can grab 56,000 acres of land. I didn't hear where this was taking place, but they repeated this statement on successive days, so it couldn't have been a mistaken report.

Has anyone else heard about this?
PS. That would be the "old English spelling in the title" he he.

I moved out to Nevada from Florida, and am getting one helluva education in how the govt. is seizing land and blocking roads. I don't know about the above, but given my new found state of paranoia, I wouldn't doubt it.
