Gotta Stay Out Of The Pawn Shop…

Bought this H&R R92 nine shot .22LR. It appears to be unfired. Out the door for $200. Nothing fancy or flashy, just a great solid shooter.

Got to be better than the Diamondback Sidekick I bought a few months ago. TERRIBLE double-action trigger!!

We had a .22 H&R when I was a kid. Had some issues, but I always liked how the cylinder release was built in to the ejector rod.

I don't really trust post war H&R revolvers, the quality just didn't seem to be there like pre war models. H&R had to eventually move beyond 19th Century designs and the swing out cylinders was the right direction to go in, but they did seem to go out of time over moderate use and for a company that no longer exists I only stick to buying the Young America and .32 top breaks.

That said I have had the occasional interest in the 926 in .38 S&W. Just can't really justify reloading another caliber for one gun.
