If you decide on an AK and you have the money go with a Bulgarian rifle. (milled receiver) You can still get SLR95 rifles for about what you'd pay for an AR. I hae an SA93 (earlier version) that will hold 2 moa using the scope and good ammo. Also there is a gunsmith who will do a conversion on Bulgarian receivers that will turn it into a Galil. From all accounts that I've heard of his other work he is very good! I think the conversion is around $1000 more or less but to have a Galil that fires 7.62X39 and uses regular AK mags might be worth it! I know I'm tempted. Just my .02.
