Got my Taurus PT-111 back

Some of you may remember that I sent my PT-111 back to the factory due to an inability of the gun to group at 10 yards in a pattern smaller than the state of Alaska, and hitting low and left real bad.
They put a new barrel in it, and even polished the feed ramp for me. The test target from my smith looked too good to be true, but to my suprise, it wasn't!!!
This little gem now shoots like a tack driver at 25 yards, and eats anything that I feed it without a hickup. It got 250 rounds tonight of everything under the sun, not a glitch.
Once you get used to or over the 12 pound pull, good shot for the money, and I'm pretty pleased with the service.
Did anyone else get theirs fixed?

Just curious, how much did you have to pay to ship it to Taurus?

So many pistols, so little money.

Total shipping, with all the BS involved and everything was $47. Government sanctioned extortion!!!

Banzai,

Ouch! I sure hope I never have to send a pistol back for repair.

Banzai,I also have a PT-111 I have had for about a year,it is often my carry gun(due to the lightness etc, even got a Alessi ankle rig for it(better have flared pants though).Mine has beeen flawless, operation wise not a misfire, hiccup to date. The only complaint I have had was with the standard grip being so short it is a bit hard to hang on to at times, but Taurus now has the finger groove extensions for their mags now,and that has made a ton of difference for me.It reminds me a bit of my Ruger P-95,I think you could put the shells in a sandpile and they would still shoot. Gotta like that!!!!!...PJ

i sent my gun back to the factory and they adjusted the slide. when it came back i did a little trigger job and it shoots great. now if i could only get the brass to stop hitting me in the face!
